Mikkeller BA Monk’s Brew is a quadrupel style beer which has been infused with raspberries. It’s barrel aged with Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus in both Austrian white wine barrels and French red wine barrels. The aroma lets off big whiffs of fresh raspberries and red wine with hints of dark fruits and light malt. The flavor is fairly sweet and syrupy.
