A mix of a young Chianti red wine and Duchessa! Fermented with wine yeast in Roman terracotta amphoras. After fermentation, this beer has been refermented in the bottle, with liqueur de tirage and Champagne yeast.
Mixed with a young Chianti and Duchessa, Birra del Borgo L’equilibrista Vintage 2012 is fermented with wine yeast in Rome. There is a second fermentation process within the bottle as liqueur de tirage and Champagne yeast are added. This beer found the balance between the world of wine and the world of beer.
