Pours deep clear ruby with a disappearing head Aroma berries, almost a bit cider like. Medium low carbonation, although better than last year. Also less juice like, but still rather sweet
Pouring a clear, dark ruby color with an aroma of berries and cider, Fuller’s Vintage Ale is strong in alcohol content and low in carbonation. It was first released in 1997 and is brewed only in limited batches. Each bottle is numbered. The ale reaches its peak at three to four years after brewing. The bitter hops and slight taste of vanilla and caramel are incredibly balanced and vibrant.
