Rodenbach Grand Cru is left in oak casks (foeders) of the Roeselare beer cathedral for a lengthy amount of time which creates an intensely pronounced version of a Flanders-red style beer. This brew consists of one-third young beer and two-third matured beer. There’s a great complexity of flavors in Rodenbach Grand Cru. The accents are of wood, esters, and hints of Grand Cru wine. Michael Jackson titled this beer a “World Classic” and the “Burgundy of Belgium”.
